Back in 2012, a photo an Apple Store employee's BUSINESS card made the rounds online . . . because his name was "Sam Sung." Which you probably thought was funny for about three seconds, then got over it.
But apparently some people STILL think it's hilarious. And it's a good thing they do, because it might REALLY help someone.
Sam is 25 years old, and lives in Vancouver. He quit his job at the Apple Store last year, but found one of his old business cards in a book recently . . . and decided to auction it off for CHARITY.
He put the card in a frame, along with an old work shirt and his nametag. Then he put it on eBay last week with a starting price of 99 cents. And now with four days still left in the auction . . . the current highest bid is over $80,000.
The money will go to the Children's Wish Foundation, which is just like the Make-a-Wish Foundation. According to a spokesperson for the charity, it costs about $10,000 to make the average kid's wish a reality. So 80 grand would be enough for eight wishes.
