No, Amy Schumer Is Not Pregnant

Amy Schumer wants you to know that she's still not pregnant. After posting a photo of herself in a red dress with her hands perfectly positioned toward her tummy and a caption about "cookin' something up," the internet naturally assumed she and her new hubby Chris Fishcher were expecting their first child. But they're not. And Schumer made that very clear in a video message she shared on IG yesterday (July 12).

"I am not pregnant. I am not pregnant," the I Feel Pretty star clarified in the clip, while sipping what looks like an alcoholic beveraeg. "I'm sorry ... it looked like I was pointing to a bump or something, but I'm not."

"Leesa Evans and I created a clothing line for all sizes and shapes at a chill price point," she explained. "That's what I was trying to allude to, but thank you for thinking of my womb."

Evans is Schumer's stylist, and she was simply taking posing cues. She captioned the post with "I always have a baby bump alert!"

Schumer has spoken about starting a family with Fischer in the past. During a visit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April, she said that they were considering having children. "I have never wanted kids," she said. "Then I saw myself as a baby on your show and I thought, 'Who am I to deprive the world of such a beautiful baby?"' She finished by joking that they're only "going to do it but just use my genetics."
