Thanksgiving week is the Super Bowl of lost luggage, so here’s a trick nobody does but EVERYBODY should:
Take a picture of the inside of your suitcase before you zip it up.
Seriously — lay it open, snap one photo, boom.
If the airline misplaces your bag (and this week… they will), you just show them the picture. It speeds up the claim process, proves what was inside, and they’re way more likely to find it fast.
And bonus:
If someone accidentally walks off with your bag — because everyone and their grandma travels with the same black roller — you have visual proof of what the inside looks like. Nobody else packs like you.
It’s the easiest insurance policy on Earth.
