What It’s Like to Be on ‘Love Is Blind’ From a Contestant Themselves

Have you watched Love Is Blind on Netflix yet? The dating show is the latest craze and for all the right seasons — it’s truly bizarre and fascinating and everything fans say The Bachelor is missing.

The reality show is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey and follows 30 men and women who are looking for love and want to form a deeper connection. To do so, they spend 10 days in “pods” meeting each other — but they never see each other. Each pod is designed to be across one another but with no way to see inside.

The couples never met face-to-face until after a proposal happens …

So what’s it really like to date and possibly get engaged without never physically meeting someone? Tanya Rad caught up with contestant Lexie Skipper who was on season 1 of the series which also happened to be filmed back in October 2018. (Lexie's story didn't appear as the show only focused primarily on six of the 30 couples.)

Tanya shared on-air on Wednesday on On Air With Ryan Seacrest that Lexie said dating in the pods was like therapy. You walk in and almost immediately feel an attraction with someone or you don’t. She had her top three picked the very first day.

Lexie also told Tanya she didn’t feel judged or feel awkward and it was way more natural than she could have imagined. On top of that, Lexie said the experience made her a better communicator and more confident!

What do you think of the concept? Would you ever do this? Sound off on social @OnAirWithRyan
