STUDY: The #FOODIE CALL is the new BOOTY CALL! Know anyone guilty of this??

So... we've heard of the booty call... but now, we've got the FOODIE CALL!?

Yup!

So they did some sort of research, and found that 33 percent of women have gone out with someone just for the food, to get a good dinner, or for an experience!

From the FOX reporting:

Of the 820 participants in the first study, 40 percent were single, 33 percent were married and 27 percent were in a committed relationship but not married. Approximately 85 percent of the total sample identified as heterosexual.
About 23 percent of the sample group said that they had made a foodie call before, but that it was an occasional or rare behavior. A majority of the participants said they believe foodie calls to be “extremely to moderately unacceptable.” Those who had made a foodie call in the past generally perceived the behavior to be more acceptable than those who hadn’t.
In a second study, a group of 357 heterosexual women were posed a similar set of questions, and a total of 33 percent reported having made a foodie call at some point.
The results, published in the journal Society for Personality and Social Psychology, revealed that women who held more traditional beliefs about gender roles as well as those who scored higher on the “dark triad” of personality traits were most likely to have engaged in a foodie call and find it acceptable. The “dark triad” refers to the psychological characteristics psychopathy, Machiavellianism and narcissism.
“Several dark traits have been linked to deceptive and exploitative behavior in romantic relationships, such as one-night stands, faking an orgasm, or sending unsolicited sexual pictures,” said study co-author Brian Collisson.

Ya'll read that again... if you've indulged in this sort of behavior... you are showing traits which score high when it comes to the "DARK TRIAD"

So, can I ask... do you know anyone who has ever indulged in the #FOODIE CALL? The date for some meals, some experiences, etc? What happened? How was it? What did or do you feel about it? What happened? Was it you!??!

Feel free to comment away below... and remember, you can always change names to protect the innocent, because, after all, we don't want to engage in any FOODIE CALL SHAMING, now, do we??!?
