#STUDY: Parents are so exhausted these days, they're sneaking in NAPS!

Thanks to the number-cruncher-types at Study Finds for this one...

Parenting is a full-time, round-the-clock job, which can make it hard to get enough sleep. And some parents are so desperate for sleep, they’re sneaking in naps throughout the day, according to a new survey. The poll of 2-thousand parents with kids under 18, commissioned by Sealy and conducted by OnePoll, finds that two in five (44%) struggle to fall asleep every night and almost half (46%) say their kids are the main reason they can’t fall or stay asleep.

The survey reveals:

●A third of parents say putting their kids to bed is their biggest sleep routine challenge.

●On average, moms and dads put their kiddos in bed between 8pm and 9pm, but they don’t typically go to bed themselves for at least two more hours.

●The top way kids keep their parents from falling asleep is by crawling into mom and dad’s bed.

●For 39% of parents, if their child is up past bedtime, they can’t fall asleep until their child does.

●Some parents say they can’t sleep if their kids are up playing, either with a digital device (43%) or with toys (41%).

●Just over half (56%) of those surveyed say their family’s nighttime routines have shifted because of the pandemic.

●And more than three-quarters of parents say their family’s sleep schedule changes with summer break.

●Being tired has led to 56% of parents falling asleep somewhere other than their bed, including at work, at the kitchen table and even while getting a haircut.

●And that’s why nearly three-quarters (72%) of parents polled say they’re so desperate for sleep that they’ll try to sneak in a nap during the day.

And... all of this confirms that one should go to sleephappens.com and find a Mattress Warehouse location near you so you get get a better bed for your naptime needs! Yes, they're my partner, but they're a great partner... especially for people who love and need that SLEEP!
